This right-handed variant is listed for Glock 17, 20, 21, 22, and 31 models. After installing aftermarket sights, taller sights, or other parts, actual compatibility must be rechecked. Does the holster fit all SIG Sauer P320 versions? The manufacturer's compatibility guide associates size 57B with full-size P320. For Subcompact, Compact, and Carry versions, a different size may be suitable, so not all P320 variants should be assumed to fit automatically. Are SIG Sauer P228 and P229 definitely compatible? The product variant description lists P228 and P229 for the 57B model, but the manufacturer's separate compatibility table associates these models with size 57B SUB. Due to this discrepancy, we recommend confirming compatibility with the seller before purchase or testing the holster with a completely unloaded pistol. What do “SIG 2020” and “Canik T9” mean in the list? These designations appear to be typographical errors in the product list. For SIG, it likely refers to the SP2022 model, and for Canik, the TP9 model family. The exact pistol model should still be confirmed separately before purchase. Are Springfield XD and XD-M compact models compatible? The CHPO 57B is intended for full-size XD and XD-M pistols in 9 mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP calibers according to the manufacturer’s table. For compact and subcompact versions, size 57B SUB is indicated in the table. Can the holster be used without a red dot sight? Yes. The optic cutout does not require the presence of a sight. The pistol must still fit securely in the holster, the trigger guard must be fully covered, and the firearm’s controls should not move unintentionally against the holster. Is the holster compatible with a weapon light or laser? The standard CHPO 57B optic-ready variant is not confirmed to fit pistols with a weapon light or frame-mounted laser. For such accessories, a holster specifically shaped for the device is required. Can the retention force be adjusted with a screw? No. This is a soft holster with passive retention and does not have the adjustment screw found on rigid Kydex holsters. Retention depends on the pistol’s dimensions, holster fit, and waistband pressure. When is the Houston CHPO 57B (RH) the right choice? This variant is suitable for right-handed users who want to carry a compatible full-size pistol inside the waistband and prefer a softer, more body-conforming holster over a rigid plastic shell. The optic cutout also makes it practical for pistols with red dot sights. Choose the smaller CHPO 57B SUB if you use a compact or subcompact version of the same model family. A pistol with a weapon light or frame-mounted laser requires a holster made specifically for the accessory’s shape. Expert recommendation The fit of a soft holster intended for multiple pistol models should always be checked with the specific firearm. Unload the pistol completely, remove ammunition from the work area, and ensure the holster fully covers the trigger and trigger guard. The pistol must remain secure even during normal movement, and the holster should not press on the safety, magazine release, or other controls. The soft holster mouth may collapse after drawing the pistol. If you cannot reholster without pressing or adjusting the holster, first remove the holster from the waistband and insert the firearm in a controlled and safe manner. Carry the firearm only in accordance with local laws and license conditions. Soft optic-ready IWB holster for full-size pistols The Houston CHPO 57B (RH) combines right-handed IWB carry, optic cutout, soft inner lining, and metal clip. It is a practical choice for discreet carry of a compatible full-size Glock, Smith & Wesson, SIG Sauer, Taurus, Springfield Armory, Walther, or Canik pistol.
