The manufacturer lists different holster variants for the standard P365 and P365 XL. Therefore, it is recommended to choose the variant that matches your firearm model exactly, and not to assume full compatibility of the K 365XL with the standard P365. Does the holster fit the P365 XMacro model? No. The P365 XMacro differs from the P365 XL in grip module and overall configuration. A separate holster specified for the XMacro model must be chosen. Is the holster suitable for left-handed users? No. The K 365XL (RH) is a right-handed variant. For left-handed draw, choose the left-handed (LH) version of the same model. Is the retention adjustable? Yes. The holster retention is adjustable. The setting must hold the pistol securely while allowing for a controlled and smooth draw. Does the holster fit a P365 XL with an optic? The manufacturer does not indicate the presence of an optic cut for this variant. Even if the P365 XL slide is optic-ready, compatibility between the installed red dot sight and the holster edge must be checked separately. Does the holster fit a pistol with a weapon light or laser? The manufacturer does not specify the K 365XL variant for use with a weapon light or laser. For a pistol with such an accessory, a holster made specifically for the exact firearm and accessory combination must be chosen. Does the holster fit a P365 XL with a manual safety? The manufacturer does not distinguish between safety and non-safety configurations for this variant. If your pistol has a manual safety, check with an unloaded firearm that the holster does not press on the safety or hinder its movement. What is the purpose of the inner lining? The soft suede-like inner lining reduces direct friction between the pistol's surface and the rigid Kydex body. However, it does not completely prevent wear marks, as dust and sand in the holster can also scratch the surface. When is the Houston K 365XL the right choice? This holster is suitable for right-handed users with a standard configuration SIG Sauer P365 XL who are looking for a rigid inside waistband holster. The Kydex body retains its shape, adjustable retention allows for customized hold, and the soft lining helps protect the pistol's finish. If you are using a standard P365, P365 XMacro, or a P365 XL with dimension-changing accessories, you must choose a holster confirmed for that exact configuration. Left-handed users will need the LH version. Expert recommendation Always check the holster's fit with a completely unloaded pistol. The pistol should sit evenly in the holster, the trigger area should be protected, and no controls should be under pressure from the holster. Practice drawing only with an unloaded firearm at first, and make sure clothing does not get into the trigger area when holstering the pistol. Adjust the retention so that the pistol stays secure during normal movement but can be drawn with a controlled pull. Regularly check the attachment of the belt clip and retention screws, and clean the inside of the holster from abrasive dirt.
