According to the manufacturer, this model is intended for carrying 12-gauge shotgun shells. Compatibility with other calibers is not confirmed on the official product page. How is this cartridge belt worn? The belt is designed to be worn over one shoulder. Its length can be adjusted up to approximately 132 centimeters to fit the user and clothing. How heavy is the fully loaded cartridge belt? The empty belt weighs approximately 454 grams. The total weight when loaded depends on the mass of the 12-gauge cartridges used and can be significantly higher. How does this differ from the 25-round model? The 56-round model holds more than twice as many cartridges and is worn over the shoulder. The 25-round model is attached at the waist and is more compact for lighter loads and more active movement. When is the Allen 56-cartridge belt the right choice? This cartridge belt is suitable for users who need to carry as many 12-gauge cartridges as possible in a single carrier. Wearing it over the shoulder frees up the waist, and the 56 individual loops make it easy to quickly assess the number of cartridges. Keep in mind, however, that a fully loaded belt becomes heavy. For active movement, longer walks, or if you need less ammunition, the 25-round belt model may be more comfortable. If you only need a small reserve attached to the firearm, the seven-cartridge Ammo Card is a more compact choice. Recommendations Adjust the belt length while wearing your usual hunting or shooting range clothing and check that the fastening clip locks securely before filling. A filled belt can weigh several kilograms, so consider whether 56 cartridges are actually needed for your intended use. For smaller amounts, leave some loops empty and distribute the cartridges evenly to prevent the belt from pulling to one side. Regularly check the condition of the elastic loops, stitching, and clip. Cartridges must stay securely in place during movement, and belts with damaged or stretched loops should not be used. Do not mix calibers and ensure that the ammunition you carry matches the exact caliber and chamber marking of your firearm. After use in wet conditions, remove the cartridges and allow the belt to dry completely. Large 56-cartridge capacity over the shoulder The Allen Heavy Duty cartridge belt is a practical choice for longer shooting sessions and situations where you need to carry more 12-gauge cartridges than usual. The adjustable shoulder strap, strong elastic loops, and 56-cartridge capacity keep your ammunition organized and within easy reach.
