The Rapala Scatter Rap Deep Husky Jerk is designed to mimic the evasive movement of vulnerable baitfish when pursued by predators. The custom Scatter Lip gives the lure a distinctive sweeping action that moves unpredictably from side to side during a steady retrieve.

Its durable plastic construction is built for repeated use, while the suspending action helps maintain the lure's position in the water. Designed primarily for trolling, the lure is suitable for targeting a variety of freshwater gamefish.

Recommendation

The Rapala Scatter Rap Deep Husky Jerk is particularly suitable for trolling when you want a lure with a less predictable swimming pattern. The Scatter Lip creates a wide, evasive action that imitates baitfish trying to escape a predator. Its suspending design helps maintain a controlled presentation in the water, while the silent action provides an alternative to rattling lures when a more subtle presentation is preferred.
