The body proportions allow using of wide variations of offset hooks with different depths of gap. Unladen Awaruna DUN with offset hook shows excellent casting distance and very attractive action even on straight retrieving: snaky windings, available thanks to the impulses from tail’s blade locating under specific angle to the body (different from the blade’s angle of Awaruna EVO). The tail’s blade of DUN deviates under water pressure at retrieving at the angle different from EVO, and moves freely and is strong enough to keep the body’s “snake winding” at any kind of rigging.
