Rapala Shadow Rap jerkbait designed to imitate the final struggle of a dying baitfish. It makes tight turns when twitched and slowly fades downward head-first during the pause.
Rapala Shadow Rap is designed to reproduce the erratic movements of a dying minnow. When worked with short twitches, the lure makes sharp turns, briefly turns back and settles into a head-down quivering position before slowly fading downward on the pause. This allows the lure to be fished almost in place and keeps it in the strike zone for longer. Tungsten and steel weights provide balanced action, while Black Nickel VMC treble hooks complete the lure. Features Responsive, Tight-Turning Jerkbait Action Head-Down Flickering Fade-Away on the Stop Mimics Dying Baitfish Internal Metallic Plating and Natural Scale Pattern Translucent Sides with Holographic Inserts and Bone Pattern Tungsten and Steel Weights for Perfect Balance Black Nickel VMC Hooks Running Depth: 0.7 m Length: 7 cm Weight: 5 g Recommendation Rapala Shadow Rap is a good option when predatory fish respond better to a slower and more erratic presentation. Use short twitches followed by pauses to keep the lure in the strike zone and imitate a weakening baitfish. Its 0.7 m running depth makes it suitable for fishing relatively shallow water.
