Rapala Super Shadow Rap is designed for large predatory gamefish, featuring a tall body that mimics the profile of a big baitfish. Its sharp side-to-side action followed by a slow fade into the depths creates a convincing dying-baitfish presentation.
The Super Shadow Rap features the responsive, tight-turning action associated with the Shadow Rap® series. It kicks hard to the side before slowly fading deeper, while its tall profile provides the silhouette of a large baitfish. The lure can be gently twitched for near-spot action or ripped harder to make it glide farther to the side. Its durable two-part plastic body with integrated lip is complemented by detailed finishes and VMC Coastal Black™ treble hooks for targeting larger predatory fish. Features Durable two-part plastic body with integrated lip Highly detailed finishes Responsive, tight-turning action For large predatory gamefish VMC Coastal Black™ treble hooks Swimming depth: 0.9–1.2 m Recommendation Rapala Super Shadow Rap is suited to anglers targeting larger predators with a combination of pauses and active retrieves. Gentle twitches keep the lure working almost in place, while harder pulls send it gliding farther to the side. Its tall profile and slow fade make it useful when a larger, slowly moving baitfish presentation is required.
