When is the Williams Wabler 14 g spoon lure the best choice? Williams Wabler® 14 g is an excellent choice when you need a truly versatile metal lure that works reliably at very different retrieve speeds and is suitable for catching many predatory fish. It is especially good for lakes, rivers, and coastal seas where you want to use a classic, time-proven lure action. When to consider an alternative? If your target fish are feeding on very small baitfish or you are fishing in shallow, densely vegetated waters, a smaller metal lure, soft bait, or spinnerbait may be a better option. For very deep water or especially long casts, you should also consider heavier Wabler models. Jahipaun's recommendation:The 14.2-gram model is a very versatile size that suits Estonian conditions well. It allows for long and accurate casts, yet doesn't require very heavy spinning gear. If you are looking for a single high-quality metal lure for pike, trout, salmon, or zander, the Wabler is one of the safest choices. Its strength is not in trendy design, but in decades-proven reliability valued by anglers worldwide.
