IWB comes from the English term "inside the waistband" and means that the main part of the holster is worn between the trousers and the body. The attachment clip hooks onto the belt or waistband. Is the holster suitable for left-handed users? No. The K 19G (RH) is a right-handed model. For left-handed carry, you must choose the LH version for the respective weapon model. Can the retention be adjusted? Yes. The manufacturer describes the holster's weapon retention as adjustable. When adjusting the screws, make small and even changes and always check the result with an unloaded weapon. Is the holster compatible with a Glock equipped with a red dot sight? The manufacturer does not specify the presence of an optic cut for this variant. If your pistol has a red dot sight or higher-than-standard sights installed, compatibility should be confirmed separately before purchase. Can the holster be used with a weapon light or laser? Compatibility with a weapon light or laser is not indicated for this model. An under-barrel accessory changes the dimensions of the pistol and typically requires a holster made specifically for the exact weapon and accessory combination. Is this holster suitable for all generations of Glock 19? The manufacturer's compatibility list mentions the Glock 19 model but does not specify all generations or possible variants. Before purchasing, compare your pistol's exact model and generation with the manufacturer's compatibility information. What is the purpose of the holster's inner lining? The soft lining reduces direct friction between the Kydex and the pistol's exterior surface. This helps protect the finish, but with regular use, wear marks cannot be completely avoided. When is the Houston K 19G the right choice? This holster is suitable for right-handed users of Glock 19, 19X, 23, 32, or 45 who want to carry their pistol inside the waistband. The rigid Kydex construction is a practical choice when maintaining the holster's shape and adjustable weapon retention are important. If your pistol has a red dot sight, weapon light, laser, or other accessories that change its dimensions, you should choose a holster specifically confirmed to fit those. A soft universal holster may fit more weapons, but does not offer the same molded fit. Expert recommendation Before carrying, check the holster's fit with a completely unloaded pistol. Make sure the weapon locks securely, the trigger is fully covered, and the clip stays firmly on the belt. Adjust the retention so the pistol does not move during normal activity, but can be drawn from the holster with a controlled pull. Practice drawing from and reholstering without live ammunition at first. When reholstering, ensure that clothing or other objects do not enter the trigger guard area. Regularly check the condition of the attachment clip and retention screws.
