A suitable optical or other permitted sight must be installed for use. Can a suppressor be installed on the rifle? Yes. The barrel has an M14×1 muzzle thread and a removable protective cap. The suppressor must fit exactly to this thread, barrel dimensions, and .308 caliber. Are optic mounts included? The Jahipaun product description does not list optic mounts as part of the package. Bases and rings should be selected to match the XPR action and the optic used. How many rounds does the rifle hold? The detachable magazine holds three rounds. Including the chamber, the technical total capacity is 3+1. How does the XPR NS SM differ from the Strata model? The NS SM is the basic version with a lighter and simpler black composite stock. The Strata model features a camouflage stock, heavy 19 mm barrel, enlarged bolt handle, and T1 compensator. What requirements apply to purchasing the rifle? This is a firearm with restricted civilian circulation. A valid permit for the relevant category and seller-required identification are necessary for purchase. When is the Winchester XPR NS SM .308 Win the right choice? This model is suitable for hunters who want a simple, durable, and reasonably weighted .308 Winchester bolt-action rifle. The black composite stock withstands practical outdoor use, and the M14×1 thread allows for the addition of a suitable suppressor. If you often shoot longer series from a rest or want a camouflage finish, the heavy-barreled XPR Strata may be a better choice. If you prefer a wooden stock and a more vertical grip, consider the XPR Thumbhole. We recommend Since the rifle does not have open sights, choose optics and mounts as a complete set. For a hunting scope, consider field of view, low-light performance, weight, and eye relief. Mounts that are too high can make cheek weld uncomfortable, while mounts that are too low may cause the scope to contact the barrel or action. The range of .308 Winchester ammunition is broad, but not all cartridges will provide the same point of impact or group size from a specific rifle. Test several suitable hunting loads and confirm your choice at the shooting range. When installing a suppressor, clean the M14×1 thread, check the alignment of the device, and account for any point-of-impact shift. After use in wet conditions, dry the rifle, remove moisture from the magazine, and maintain steel surfaces according to the manufacturer's instructions. Practical and weather-resistant .308 Win hunting rifle The Winchester XPR NS SM .308 Win offers a reliable bolt action, composite stock, detachable magazine, and suppressor readiness. It is a clear and functional choice for hunters who want a universal rifle for use with optics. Attention! The modification of the weapon may vary, ask the Jahipauna stores for more information.
